Well deck my halls!
To pre-empt tomorrow’s festive flue delivery – and because you’ve been delightfully naughty this year – Santa Simon and his merry elf, Marcus (in that order – I’m the one writing this after all), have put together a jolly selection of alternative Christmas choons.
There’s the odd flirt with tradition – how could we not include the chocolate tones of Nat King Cole? – and a particularly nostalgic orchestral number from John Williams (“Keviiin!!”), but if you delve deeper into the stocking past the orange ball-gag and selection of hard nuts there’s a couple of cracking reggae numbers, and a well-wishing from a characteristically smug James Brown.
Merry Yuletide salutations Glitterboys-and-girls! See you in 2012! xx
